Installation guide

artificial grass is quick and easy to install...

Step 1

Decide which artificial grass is right for your garden and then measure. Our guide to calculating the materials you need is available here...

Step 2

Strip all existing turf and weeds then grade, level and compact the surface area.

Step 3

Spread a thin covering layer of sharp sand over the area and level / compact.

Step 4

We recommend that a weed prevention membrane is then laid.

Step 5

Roll out the artificial grass to minimise any joints and wastage. The carpet is easily cut and shaped into place, seam tape and glue is used to hold seams in place.

Step 6

If installing our sand-filled carpet, dry kiln sand is then applied and brushed into the carpet pile.

Additional fixing can be used with 6" galvanised nails around the edges or timber edging boards.
